To Skate
The LTS Program is for the FIRST time hockey player. It includes all the equipment needed to get on the ice; hockey skates, helmet, gloves, shin guards, shoulder pads, and elbow pads. All new and custom fitted from Wheelin Willy’s in Wantagh. Also included in this program are four instructional ice sessions. Our innovative program makes the 1st steps on the ice affordable for players and their families. It is open to player’s ages 4-10. The tuition for this program is $200. The time for the ice slots are Saturdays from 8 – 9:30 am and will begin September 8th. The LTS program is available throughout the entire hockey season.
Developmental
Program
This program is designed for the beginner player ages 4-13. It is ideal for hockey players to learn the basic fundamentals such as skating, passing, shooting, and team play. This program is geared towards developing each player’s individual skill. All players will be placed in age/skill appropriate sections. NO HOCKEY EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. The program will begin September 8th and will run through the end of March. The time is 8 – 9:30 am every Saturday. In addition there is a Wednesday ice slot from 5 – 5:45 which concentrates on cross-ice. This starts on Wednesday September 5th and also runs through the end of March. The tuition for this program is $650.
House
League
Our House program is designed for the beginner through intermediate player who has experience in skating and hockey. Stress will be placed on game skills where they can learn positions and puck handling. Each player with receive a jersey to be used during weekly games. The amount of registrants will determine number of teams. We will have two ice slots each week. The tuition for this program is $400 including jersey. The time for the ice slots are Saturdays 6:30 – 8:00 am and Sunday 5 – 6:30 pm. It will begin on September 8th and run through the end of March.
For those who are serious about hockey and are interested in doing both our Developmental Program and House League program the tuition would be $750.
All players who participate in Developmental and/or House League will receive a raffle booklet (included in your tuition). The raffles can be sold to help offset some of your tuition cost. The prizes for these raffles are $2,000, $1,000, $500 and four $250, totaling $4500.
All ice slots take place at the Freeport Recreation Center on Merrick Road in Freeport. All coaches for our programs are certified by USA Hockey and are skilled at teaching younger players. TO REGISTER
If you register before September 1st and pay half tuition you will receive a $50 discount! Or if you bring a friend to our organization, when they enroll in one of our programs you will receive $25 off your tuition!
Mail the bottom portion to: Sandy Bobb, 14 Buckingham Rd., Merrick, NY 11566. All checks should be made payable to Arrows Hockey. Please include half tuition with your registration. The second half is due on or before November 1st.
